HAPPY 2014

I never make new years resolutions because I believe all "rules" are made to be broken. I have my goals at this moment to finish some of my unfinished projects. We will see how that goes as the year progresses.

I found a Small Blog Meet at Lily's Quilts that should be fun. I love finding new bloggers and learning what they are into.

The last finished project for 2013. I think I started this in 2012, found it again in 2013, finished and had it quilted by Zany Quilter. She does such a wonderful job. She also does a great job on her photo's of the quilting. Check it out.

I'm supposed to be cleaning my sewing rooms but instead I did a post! Lots more fun. Complete finishes are so few and far between, I get so excited when I have one.

Until next time be happy, healthy and safe.

Tuesday With The Girls

Yesterday was our Tuesday group and the room was packed. This is the quilter that made the tree wall hanging out of my scraps because I gave her the fabric for this awesome snowball quilt. In case you missed the tree check it out here.

The back of this quilt is almost as fun as the front. She even matched up her stripes. There's a whole lot of creative sewing going on in that room on Tuesdays.

Today I trimmed some Dancing Stars pieces so I can sew them together into squares. These are slow going but I'm excited about the finished quilt so I will persevere. I don't think I will make it to king size though!

Happy sewing for now.
